DESCRIPTION:BCJLS tags will be available here for $2 cash. \nTo show at the Bexar County Junior Livestock Show (BCJLS)\, all animals must be validated with BCJLS OR by the State of Texas. If an animal is state validated\, it does not need a BCJLS tag. \nBCJLS offers validation ear tags for lambs\, goats\, cattle\, and pigs and rabbit validation for $2 cash at certain validation events. \nA BCJLS tag is valid for the BCJLS show and certain other smaller shows. Exhibitors who do not wish to show at a major show may want to purchase a BCJLS tag instead of a state validation tag. A BCJLS ear tag by itself is NOT valid for major shows\, such as the San Antonio Livestock Show. \nA list of Texas major shows is here. \nState validation information can be found on the Bexar County Agri-Life Extension webpage. \nThe Texas Youth Livestock and Agriculture (TYLA) website has more information about state validation.
